SEED SIZING AND CALIBRATION

Calibration of sunflower seeds is one of the main preparatory stages of production – raw materials are divided into fractions depending on its purpose, which guarantees quality.

Our Company provides services of calibration of sunflower seeds on the special high-tech Turkish equipment on sieves of the different size (3.2; 3.4; 3.6; 3.8; 4.0; 4.2; 4.5). Possible production capacity: 10-50 tons per day.

First calibration process: For the further roasting process, large seeds (caliber 3.8+) and small seeds (caliber 3.8-) are obtained.

Secondary calibration process.  Seeds less than 3.8 mm are recalibrated with 3.4 mm sieves. Seeds smaller than 3.4 mm are separated for use in oil production.
